Brazilian Zouk – level 2
The Brazilian Zouk is one of the most popular couple dances in the world today. It is sensual, playful and full of improvisation. It is an amazing dance that has unlimited forms and directions of movement, allowing you to beautifully explore your whole body, plus it teaches you to communicate non-verbally, collaborate, lead and follow in a couple.
Starting September 9, 2024 we are opening new classes and courses for both existing and new students.
You will be taught by international teacher Lucia Kubasova, who has many years of experience in dance, not only Zouk, but also other partnering styles. She will be assisted by Pali, Honza and Stanko.
It is not necessary to have a partner, we take turns in the lessons 😉

Information on Levels:
Level 0 /1 – Complete beginners, without any previous experience.
Level 2 – For students who already have experience and have been dancing for at least six months or more.
Level 3 – For students who already have experience and have been dancing for at least 1 year or more.

It is REQUIRED to take off your shoes/slip before entering the ballroom. So please bring your own shoes and shoes to dance class.

Lucia KubášováI am a professional dancer, dance instructor and choreographer. Although I am certified as a Dance Sports Trainer, I am currently focusing on so-called social dances, i.e. global dances that are danced in society on a daily basis.
I grew up in Slovakia and I have felt love and respect for dance since a very young age. Dance teaches me about life and is my guide in life. In 1997 I won the title of Junior Slovak Champion in Latin American dances and in 2002 the title of European Salsa Champion.
Thanks to dance, I got to know the world. Already in 2001, I was part of big performances in theaters around China during a month-long tour with ballroom dance dancers. For half a year in 2014, I went on a world tour with the team of professional dancers Show Brazouka. We had a total of about 140 performances in, for example, Scotland, South Africa, Australia. During my career as a dance instructor, I have also been part of dozens of festivals around the world:

In addition to festivals, I have been involved in one-off dance events and regular teaching of social dances for the public and professional dance instructors for over twenty years. My passion is Brazilian zouk and Argentine tango, but I also teach salsa and bachata.
At the beginning of 2023, I co-founded the association Tanec pro studenty, z. s. in an effort to offer social dances to younger generations, especially to people aged 15-30.
